Raising those funds
Fundraising is an essential part of being in HOSA. The funds collected will help towards subsidizing the hotel and resource costs for our team. The first fundraiser that will be run by HOSA is the hot chocolate sale. During the freezing months of November to December, our frost-nipped panthers can purchase warm hot chocolates and coffee for a reasonable price.
This event will involve all chapter members to help in sales and other components of the fundraising process. Below are the different ministries you can take part in to help. Please sign up for the ministry you wish to help with ASAP, as it is a first come first serve basis.
Finance Ministry
Want to help balance the numbers? Are you an excel expert? Help HOSA financially maximize the funds that are raised.
Marketing Ministry
Calling all the artists ! Help make posters, slogans, announcments and more...
Sales Ministry
Are you a social butterfly? Your job will be to attract people to the hot chocolate booth, and ensure maximum sales each day. Sell sell sell!
Administration Ministry
Behind the scenes, this ministry will ensure all aspects of the fundraiser are moving efficiently. Some of the major jobs include: school paperwork, collection of materials, and writing up the hot chocolate proposal.

Conveniently have a stack of unopened hot chocolate boxes you do not plan on using? How about marshmallows or cookies? By donating some materials, we can lower the cost of the event, thereby making more funds for our HOSA chapter.
